About Us

The candle workshop is a social project of the organization « Latvijas Kustība par neatkarīgu dzīvi » (Latvian Movement for Independent Life).

The aim of SIA «Miljons sveču grupu mājai» is to promote the improvement of the quality of life of people with severe developmental disabilities and their loved ones by performing economic activities in order to accumulate funds for the creation and operation of the group home service for persons with severe developmental disabilities. All the profits of the company are directed to the association « Latvijas Kustība par neatkarīgu dzīvi », which has taken care of the creation of a group home and the provision of services in the future. The « Latvijas Kustība par neatkarīgu dzīvi » is a non-profit organization that has the status of public benefit. SIA «Miljons sveču grupu mājai» helps sell candles, which are made by people with severe developmental disabilities in the association's candle workshop.
